communications committee
Members of the Communications Committee work to spread the name of the organization, develop promotional materials for the organization, and publish our newsletter, The Drum.
thon committee
Members of the THON Committee stay up-to-date on THON events and business, encourage members of our community to engage with THON, and plan THON activities.
sankofa committee
Members of the Sankofa Committee plan and facilitate Sankofa discussions.
political action committee
Members of the Political Action Committee coordinate events that engage our community in political actions such as social justice organizing, voting campaigns, and more.
upua committee
Members of the UPUA Committee assist the UPUA Chair in planning and executing initiatives. They also contribute to bettering the relationship between Black Caucus and UPUA.
nmte committee
Members of the Now More Than Ever Committee assist the officers and programming chair in planning and executing events during the last week of class in Spring. They also help plan Black Graduation.
ashe committee
Members of the Ashe Committee assist the officers and programming chair in planning and executing events during the last week of class in Fall. They also present at the Ashe Awards.
finance/fundraising committee
Members of the Finance and Fundraising Committee assist the Fundraising Chair in managing and planning fundraising efforts and events. They also develop merchandise for the organization.
